York PA Photographer- Children's Session

Hello guys! Thank you so much for checking out my blog!! Today I am just briefly sharing images of my daughter. I really love working with my own kids because I can use them when the idea strikes. A couple months ago we suddenly had 60 degree weather which was a nice change during the winter season. I had roses from Valentine’s Day and wanted to incorporate them into a photo shoot with my daughter Sophia. I try to make beautiful art even in the dead of winter and photography has become such a fun way for me to create something out of nothing. I am so happy that I can see lots of growth in my work and come up with ideas like this on the fly; when you are so used to winter being drab and lacking color, it was a nice change to be able to see a vision come to life.

Winter Photography Portraits- Children's session

Throughout the winter, I had photographed my daughter many times in the snow. The first two images were taken at John Rudy Park while the series after that was taken at an ugly alley behind my house. It’s a cool feeling when you can take an ugly road and turn it into magic! Ah the wonders and possibilities of photography! If you would like a session in the snow next year, it must be done when there is fresh snow. I am always up for the challenge and would love to plan something fun!

Sale on Children's Sessions

This is me, Angela! Saturday was my birthday!! I turned 35! It was a huge deal for me and my family and I celebrated by going away for one night. Time with my family is something that I cherish. I love freezing these precious moments in time whether in my memories or in my photos! I love taking photos for families like you! I am putting my Children’s Session price on sale for the month of March to celebrate turning one year older and my love for photography.

For this month only, you can purchase a children’s session for $200 (with $12 sales tax) and use it for the entire year as long as it is not applied to a Family Session, Cake Smash or Senior Session or Newborn Session. This price also includes 10 digitally retouched images.

If you were considering planning a cherry blossom session with me, you can pay for the children’s session this month on sale and apply it toward a cherry blossom session for your kids (as long as it is purchased this month). Cherry blossoms only last about one week and there is a lot to consider when planning a cherry blossom session. Sometimes we have rainy days and it can be hard to predict what the weather will be like but at least by purchasing the Children’s Session now, if we need to reschedule then at least you have the session paid for and then you may use it once during other seasons for your children’s photos. Of course you may also use this session during the summer and fall.

Children's Session in York PA

I kept thinking that I shared all of these images on my blog and it turns that I did not! I had an idea around Valentine’s Day……I bought a beautiful rose and took my kids to a new location. The results were just what I wanted! I just love these kids! It’s not too early to teach my boy how to treat a lady, and Ryan was so proud when he gave his sister that rose. It was adorable. We lucked out and the temp was 60 degrees! I am always thinking of new photo session ideas. I never stop practicing what I love and my kids pretty much give me full cooperation. I guess that is why I have tons and tons of photos of them on my website! Lucky me!

Engagement and Couples Photography Sessions

Hi guys! I wanted to stop in and mention that I am now offering engagement and couples sessions in the York Pa area. I offer family and children photography and love it, but am starting to open up to the idea of taking portraits of couples. I think it could be fun! From now until the end of March, my session fee will be $150, for 10 images. Spread the word if you know of anyone who would love updated photos! I really love downtown York around sunset- as you will see from the sample images below.

This all began because my hubby and I needed an updated photo of ourselves so we grabbed the trusty tripod and headed to Cherry Lane in York! I thought, why can’t I do this for other people? It gives me a little time to focus on two people together- in love, while normally during family sessions we focus on everyone in the family.
