Happy Birthday!

So many mixed emotions this week as my kids turn one year older! Ryan and Sophia are very excited to get older but part of me is a little sad. Where did my babies go? Well at least we can all celebrate with lots of cake right? I just thought I would add a few pictures of them through the years! Sophia turned eight on Tuesday and Ryan turned four today! Such a big jump from four years ago when I brought my sweet baby boy home! Well you all know I document everything with photographs so be prepared for a long post! Luckily I got a good camera once my oldest was two but the ones before then aren’t really the best.

The can’t wait to have a birthday party tomorrow.

So, this was Sophia right after she was born. Such sweet cheeks.

York PA Children's Photographer {Trip to Strasburg Railroad}

I really enjoy taking my kids on new adventures! I often take my camera along too. I will spend hours on my photography each week and many times our trips involve a small photo shoot with my kids because they are great models for me and I learn a lot by having them stand in really good light. Thank you to everyone who continually checks my blog and appreciates my work because a lot of my time and energy goes into my art and I love sharing it! So last month we went on a train ride at the Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster PA. It was so worth the money and the drive to get there. I loved driving around Lancaster and nearby towns. Hope you all enjoy these photos! Since we were on the last train of the day, the station was pretty abandoned when business ended.

York PA Children's Photographer {Sunflower field}

We found this cute sunflower field in August and I am just now blogging the photos! The field of sunflowers was at Gray Apple Market in York PA. You can find their website below in the links that I provided.

We didn’t stay too long when we went because this was the day I was doing Sophia’s back to school photos and we had lots of places to go to. I am hoping to go to one more sunflower field before they are gone. There is one in Carlisle PA. If I get out there, we will take some pictures once again!

Apple Orchard Session {York Pa Children's Photographer}

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! Pennsylvania is beautiful in the fall and we northern people really like our pumpkins, apples, and everything that reminds us of being curled up by a fire! Last year I took my kids to an apple orchard farm. I never shared any of those images because things got busy, but this year I wanted to compile a short post about our trips to the orchard a year ago and again when we went this year! Sophia and Ryan were so little last year and it just makes me kind of sad. But meanwhile I also know they have many years ahead of them so I try to enjoy the time we have before they are doing crazy things like driving cars and going to college!

Birthday Session {York PA Children's Photographer}

Well I am here to say, I could not wait to blog this session!! Allison and her kids met me at a farm for her daughter’s birthday photo shoot! It was full of smiles and balloons! Lacey is five years old now and we had plenty of great shots of her and some of Logan, her big brother! I took Lacey’s two, three, four and now FIVE year pictures. It’s a lot of fun to provide a nice product for Mom and Dad and these photos are something they will have forever!
