My own Target Photoshoot {York, PA}

Shopping at Target is like my Mom getaway...I can't always spend what I want or go alone without kids, but being there is always a good time! I saw photographers doing their own photo shoots at these stores and I wanted to get in on the fun! Let me present to you my Sophia, in Target, on a Sunday afternoon!

Yes the shopping cart is just about as tall as she is...

I wish I could buy everything in the home section, just saying.....

She did earn a toy for being a great participant!

There is a new line of home goods there and one could really get into trouble if they stayed long enough...

She bought two nail polish colors and is now obsessed..

My kids always want to sit in these giant shopping baskets and I always tell them they can't so when we went that day I thought it would be funny to let her do it one time... of course as we did this an employee just walked by us, lol!

We ended our night with an ICEE drink for her and nothing from Starbucks for me since it was getting late and I don't need the caffeine, lol

Our Christmas {Photographer in York, PA}

Well hello! I am glad that you could check out my blog!! I will try to be brief because it is hard to type since I had surgery on my hand. Is anyone else happy that it is finally Friday? I sure am! I wanted to blog all of our Christmas pictures and I know it's a month since the Holidays but I finally found the time to get this together! Here are several pictures of my children, our Christmas card photo and pictures of them opening presents. I hope you enjoy these!

This was taken in downtown York, right in front of the White Rose Restaurant during golden hour.

Yay for a timer on my camera otherwise the shot on the right wouldn't have happened! I often go to John Rudy Park for family and children's sessions.

Haring Tree Farm was very accommodating when I asked them if I could use their property. These are my favorite.

This was our Christmas Card photo. It was cold but we took breaks and warmed up in the restaurant right there.

Baby Ryan....some of my own images of his birth {Birth Photography in York PA}

Our son Ryan is now three years old and I guess I never blogged the images from when he was born. He was perfect. Everything went so well!! I couldn't have been happier too!  Now you ask....why post these three years later? Well, now that I am very serious about customers being able to find me when they search online for "Photographers in York PA", I try to blog about everything that I am interested in photographing. If you are pregnant and would like your birth photographed, I would love to chat! At the moment I am taking on clients who have scheduled inductions.  I wish I could take everyone and my goal is that someday I will be in a better position to be on call and work at all hours and days of the week!

So onto the images!

I'm really proud of these images! Justin took the pictures immediately after Ryan was born when he was being weighed and  checked. I photographed our Fresh 48 photos in the recovery room and  Justin took the images of us together on the bed. Having a birth photographer nearby when you deliver your baby can ensure that those first tender moments when your baby enters the world will be documented! It is really nice to see these pictures once again. When I was editing yesterday, our daughter asked me if I had any pictures like these from when she was born. I told her we took some but they aren't as good, but what matters is that we do have some pictures! I added a few from my delivery with her at the end of this post.  Always cherish any pictures you take when you have a baby! I only wish we had someone take photos of all of us together but that is okay. Maybe next time ;)

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!! So glad you could stop in and check out my blog! Tree Farm Family sesson {Goldsboro, PA}

Hey there! I'll try to be brief and catch everyone up on my last session from the Holiday season. When the new Christmas season comes around each year, I try to find nice locations for my Holiday sessions. I will usually go anywhere I am permitted to shoot for my family sessions but this year was extra special because I actually was able to do something very different! A client of mine had asked me to find a tree farm and I was like....that sounds cool but let me see if any of the businesses will be available.  Some places would not call me back so I assumed they were not okay with a photographer walking around. I decided to drive to Haring Tree Farm one day in November and the owner was there working that day. He was fine with the idea of a photographer using the land as long as it was before customers started arriving for the tree season. I was so excited at the prospect of being able to use private land and not rely on shooting at a public park. In late November two clients met with me at the tree farm. I did my practice shoots a few times there with my kids as well. It was a good experience for me as an artist. I feel like I could maybe do it again next year if I get enough interest! One of the families who met me at the tree farm was the Yun Family! We also met previously for a family session last year. I'm just going to post a few pictures from that session so you can see how big their boys got! Enjoy!

If I am honest, it would be so hard to recreate this light again!! Seriously one of my favorite images from 2016!!
