Favorites from Children's Christmas Mini Session

Hi there! I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! I wanted to check in with everybody while I had a second, and update my blog. Since the fall season ended, I have done about three Christmas sessions, one of which was for my friend Allison. She and I meet every year for family pictures, and of course this year we met again in December to take some for her Christmas card! Here is one image from last year. I thought it would be a neat comparison to look at how much Logan and Lacey have grown!  All of these images were taken at John Rudy Park in Emigsville, PA.

I know there aren't many pictures but this was a quick mini. Very easy to do for a family if they only need a few pictures for Holiday cards on top of a family session throughout the year! Fall Family Session {York, PA}

Well good evening!! I can't believe that in a few weeks it will be Christmas! I just wanted to pop in and post the images from a fall session that I had in November. The maple trees in York, PA did not disappoint once again! I met this family at Farquhar Park in York PA one evening in November.... they were so nice and happy to have their pictures taken! Family sessions are so much fun...I love that I specialize in family and children's portraits...it is really an honor to take pictures that families can enjoy for a lifetime.

The contrast here was perfect for a back and white image... I love it!

Sibling shots are always a favorite of mine!

This park is full of good spots...especially when I use my 85 mm lens, it really makes for a beautiful image.

Six Month Baby Session {Extended family session in York, PA}

Hey there!! Thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog. I love visitors!

Last month I had a six month baby session/ extended family session all in one! I met with Jill and her husband Eric, (who you will see pictured below) Jill's sister's family (Nichole and Tim), and the Grandparents (Jill and Nichole's parents) for a children's/ family session at Brookside Park in Dover PA. This session was very special to me because not only are these clients friends of mine,  I also was ecstatic  that the family thought of me when searching for a photographer. When Jill and Eric asked me take to take their baby's six month milestone pictures, I couldn't say no! Mom and Dad wanted to celebrate their baby turning six months...it's just a fun and exciting time! You will see that she is just a little bundle of joy and I think her personality really shines through in these pictures. There are several pictures of Nichole and Tim's kiddos too that I am about to show you as well, so look for those too! I took a few family pictures but wanted to save those for the family in case they will be used for Christmas cards. Please enjoy this children's/ extended family session at Brookside Park in Dover, PA. 

Joey is so fun and there was never a moment when she wasn't making us laugh! I love her!

Joey was joined by Nichole and Tim's children Abby and Andrew for some cousin pictures! Ahh seriously, my favorite!

Children's Birthday Session {York, PA}

Hi there and Happy Halloween! I have to get some work done before Trick or Treat night this evening and some blogging has to be completed before all the fun. My work is really never done, lol!

I love children's sessions and this one helped me stretch my creativity with posing and light. I met with Allison during the summer when her little girl Lacey was turning four...Every year we meet for pictures for birthdays, fall pictures, and Christmas! I love taking their family pictures! Lacey and her brother Logan were in some pictures together as well. I think this is a nice collection for the family and the locations are perfect. 

I posted the balloon image first just because it's my favorite out of the bunch!

Kind of neat that the pavilion really looks huge compared to Lacey...maybe we can do a similar shot like this each year!

I snagged one of Logan all around the flowers, Lol!

Fall sessions {in York, PA}

Good evening! I wanted to stop in and write a quick post about fall sessions since the leaves have changed and I only have a couple spots left in my schedule!  You know I love a good child or family session, and pretty scenery makes everything so colorful!

For the location that I have in mind, I will be near that park this Saturday morning for my church's Trunk or Treat. I could meet a family at 8:30 in the morning if anyone would like a session. For Sunday (October 29), that date is probably out because it's predicted to be 90% rain, however I have some time on Monday and Tuesday (October 30 and 31). Then as long as the weather cooperates, I will be available for one or two sessions next weekend (November 4th and 5th) presumably in the morning and evening! After those dates I will be looking forward to Christmas card pictures! Here are some of my favorite shots from this location that were taken in previous years. My price currently for this location is $120 for 8 edited images.
