Children's session in sunflowers....

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is having a great Sunday. I found some time this evening to catch up on some blogging and am so excited to share these images that were taken in a sunflower field. Summer is such a fun time and finding a field of sunflowers a few months ago made my heart very happy! Elizabeth met me one evening in August with her kiddos and we had a great time. These were taken near Route 83 in Manchester, PA. Please enjoy this mini session in York PA!

My 85 mm lens was perfect for the style that I wanted.

Fall Session {Children's session}

Hi all! Is everyone excited that fall is here? The weather just got cooler and I am dying to get out again and photograph some families! I took my kids to a farm nearby in York PA and just wanted to share some images briefly with you guys.... I think these images showcase how pretty it is there. Back in August these were taken when I was thinking ahead to the fall promotions for children and family sessions. Of course my kids are always happy participants and so sweet. Sessions at this location will be $200 for the sitting fee also which includes 18 fully retouched digital files.

Family Session {Wrightsville, PA}

I always jump at the chance to photograph this family! Becca is my closest friend and very easy to work with. We set up this family session because she really wanted to be in some photos with her children. This was perfect since I love photographing Mothers with their little ones. When discussing the location together, Becca asked me if I knew of place with sunflowers. I discovered that Lehman Feed Store in Wrightsville had a small patch of sunflowers. I am told in September they will have more of these flowers so I plan on going back to the farm should anyone wish to have their fall pictures taken in this setting. It's a family owned property so they just ask that if you want to take pictures there, please call ahead and inform them of the day and time.

I love this set of images so much. Between the white dresses and dreamy golden tones from the light and corn, I just find these photos to be so breathtaking!

Mother - daughter photos are special. I think it looks even more stunning when the ladies are wearing pretty dresses!

Little Girl Balloon Session {York PA}

Hey there! Thanks for coming back to check out the blog! Today I would like to show you some images of my latest children's mini session. You may recognize the model in the pictures as well! These were taken downtown in York on Market Street. I got the idea to use a balloon from some friends in the business & then remembered that Sophia had a dress just sitting in her closet waiting to be worn. New dress + balloon= Perfection, haha! I was determined to make this happen. And did you know that these huge balloons can be purchased from Party City?

Sophia will be seven years old in October. It seems like these seven years have flown by & one day I will miss how she talked about the Tooth Fairy and Santa. I was teaching her how to ride a bike this summer and was awesome! Sophia loves everyone. She is so kind and happy. I am proud that these pictures display her personality. I'll always have these to help me remember her childhood.

She's hilarious! Look at how much bigger the balloon is compared to her head!

Lifestyle Newborn Session {York, PA}

Hello and happy Wednesday! We're half-way to the weekend! I wanted to get caught up on blogging so this morning I started working on a few things before we enjoy this wonderful weather outside. I have some pretty sweet images to show you all, and as always, it's fun and exciting to share a recent session that I have shot. I've been getting a few babies this month so I love to show Moms and Dads all of the edited images that I take of their brand new babies. Newborns change so fast and parents like to have the memories of those first two weeks and I love taking pictures for them!
